New ‘Build Your Own Adventure’ Ninjago Book Revealed

Another book, called ‘Greatest Ninja Battles’, is slated to be added to the long line of ‘Build Your Own Adventure’ books, published by Dorling Kindersley (DK), a British publishing company. As the books before it, this one will also come with a minifigure and an exclusive model(s) to build. It’s due to be released on August 7th.

Ninjago Build Your Own Adventure: Greatest Ninja Battles

If you haven’t picked one of this books before, I strongly suggest you do. They contain hints and suggestions for building models, effectively combining play and storytelling. According to the official description, the book will contain more than 50 building ideas, covering most of the old villains: the Anacondrai, Ghost Army, Sky Pirates, Vermillion, as well as the ones featured in the latest season: the Sons of Garmadon.

Posting this here because I don’t want to be spoiled-I am so TICKED that Ninjago still doesn’t have a US airdate, unless Cartoon Network’s schedule is just totally jacked up. And now there’s TWO episodes that have aired outside the US!

Yes, it’s really strange… It was in the schedule, but then it was removed. If I recall correctly, it was supposed to air today. But I’m guessing that it didn’t?

Well, if it did, I wasn’t around to see it, and the schedule seemed to be all either 12-minute show episodes or Teen Titans Go *shudder* specials.

Hmmm, the wiki still says it aired on January 29th… So maybe it’s not on Cartoon Network? What other network could’ve picked it up?

Oh, going back to an earlier theory you mentioned with regards to Hutchins. I find it highly unlikely that he’s the First Spinjitzu Master, given both the fact that we’ve seen the remains of the First Spinjitzu Master back in Grave Danger and Hutchins’ apparent dislike towards Lloyd. I mean, I don’t see why the guy would be such a jerk to his own grandson-unless a theory I’ve heard about Lloyd and Harumi actually being siblings is true and he’s somehow aware and thus trying to prevent any awkwardness.

I too feel like it’s an overkill for him to be the First Spinjitzu Master, I just based this “theory” that his outfit looks very similar to the Dragon Master ones from next season. I do, however, feel that he is a powerful individual and cannot wait for his story to be revealed.

It would be pretty funny if that Lloyd and Harumi being related theory proved to be true.

He does seem interesting, and the fact that he’s actually getting a minifigure does make it seem like he’ll have an important role to play-he’s not one of the Ninja or one of the villains so it’s pretty notable. I think it would be sad and fairly dumb-the promotional trailer makes the two of them seem very cute together. Plus, the Ninjago timeline is already plagued with inconsistencies: we don’t need Garmadon and Misako having a second child who for some reason they’ve never bothered to mention being thrown into the mix as well. Admittedly, the fact that she is the adopted daughter of the Emperor and Empress is interesting, and I imagine we might get some insight into her true parentage at some point.

Yeah, well, not like the writers shy away from introducing inconsistencies and doing retcons every season. Maybe Wu’s shenanigans while being lost in time somehow made it possible for them to be related somehow? But I don’t think that they’ll make them related. I don’t see why they would.
